Here are the details for Bear Camp 2008, the weekend of July 31, - Aug 3, 2008. The cost of registration is as follows:

- Before May 31st, 2008> $75
- June 1 - July 24th> $90
- July 25th or later> $100
NOTE: I registered and paid by PayPal on December 29th and was charged $70.00 with no additional fees for registering online.
- The host hotel is the Red Roof Inn downtown. Room rates are $129.00/ night for up to 4 in a room. (I am checking on this rate to see if it is correct. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle.)
- Rental cars: Car rentals at Columbus Airport are downright cheap. (On average I have paid between $18 - $25 per day with unlimited mileage at Hertz in the airport.)
- Airfare: Both US Airways and Southwest offer several non-stop flights per day to Columbus. (During the last 6 months I have paid as low as $98 R/T to $201 R/T plus taxes and fees. Recently, Southwest offered a special at $38 each way, to which US Airways matched on most of their flights. Scheduled flight time is approximately 1 1/2 hours, actual time is closer to an hour.)
