Thanks for the interest in becoming a member of The Liberty Bears of Philadelphia. The process is pretty quick, easy and painless. |
- First you will need the Membership Application Form which can be downloaded from this site.
- Next you will need to fill in the form, selecting which type of membership you would like, Associate or Full Member. (The main differences between the two types of membership are as follows:
- Full Members have voting rights for club business while Associates do not.
- Full members pay a higher yearly dues and wear a “big” back patch. Associates are entitled to wear a “small” patch. (Dues rates are noted on the application form.)
- Full Members must go through a minimum 3-month pledge period in which you get to know the membership and we get to know you.)
- After filling out your application we suggest you bring it to our monthly meeting, the 1st Sunday of the month, Sept. through June, in The Pit at The Bike Stop, 5pm-6pm. At the meeting you can meet the officers and pay your dues. After the meeting you are invited to stay for our monthly club social, also in The Pit, 6pm-10pm. Associate Member applicants should feel free either to come to a meeting or to mail in their payment and application.
